Route 62 Overnight Breede River Tour

This tour caters for lovers of the outdoors, good wine and gourmet meals amid the beauty of the Breede River valley. Explore the natural beauty of the Klein (Little) Karoo as you travel along Cape Route 62 from Cape Town. Begin your journey with an orientation of the historic activities of the Cape Dutch Settlers to the Boland town of Paarl, before setting off to the Breede River valley. Explore the agriculture and viticulture gems of this region that is popularly known to have given the Robertson wine valley its lease on life. Taste the produce of the fertile soil and witness the process in the making at a number of wine and brandy cellars in the valley. For active nature lovers there is the picturesque 7.5 km Fish Eagle trail and mountain biking trails from where to enjoy breath taking views across the Breede River Valley and Robertson area. Some of the many highlights of this tour is a floating wine tasting or lunch, deli picnic, wine tasting on the banks of the Breede River and optional luxury accommodation within close proximity of local amenities. Travel to the neighbouring towns of Bonnievale, Montague, Ashton and McGregor for a broader perspective of this prize winning destination.
